Caring for a Temporary Tattoo After Application

To ensure the tattoo lasts longer:

  • Do not touch the tattoo during the first hour after application. Avoid touching it later as well, especially with unclean hands.
  • Avoid friction, particularly with sponges or rough surfaces.
  • Avoid moisture: Try not to wet the tattoo unless absolutely necessary, such as during a shower. Avoid swimming pools, saunas, or prolonged exposure to rain.
  • After a shower or if the skin sweats, gently pat the area dry with a soft tissue or towel. No rubbing!

Removing Adhesive Residue (Sticky Surface):

If the glitter has fallen off but the adhesive remains:

  • Use micellar water or gentle makeup remover:
    • Apply a small amount to a cotton pad.
    • Gently wipe the area using circular motions.
  • Coconut oil or baby oil:
    • Apply the oil to the adhesive residue and let it sit for 1–2 minutes.
    • Wipe the residue off with a soft cloth or cotton pad.
  • Warm water and soap:
    • If no other options are available, clean the skin with warm water and a mild soap.

Skin Care Advice:

  • After removing the tattoo, use a moisturizing cream or aloe vera to soothe the skin.
  • Important! During glitter tattoo application, a special body adhesive is used. If you or your child has sensitive skin or other skin conditions, we recommend refraining from getting a tattoo.
  • If irritation occurs, remove the tattoo using makeup remover or oil as recommended above. Allow the skin to rest and avoid applying glitter to the same area for the next few days.
